Job summary

Apex-Healthcare is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in North Miami Beach, FL. This full-time leadership role supports clinical operations and nursing staff in a compliant, resident-focused environment.

The ADON will partner with the Director of Nursing to uphold CMS and Florida DOH standards, improve staffing stability, and drive quality patient care. Prior SNF ADON experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (Compact ok).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations daily within the SNF.
• Ensure CMS and Florida DOH survey readiness and compliance.
• Assist with survey preparation, inspections, and corrective plans.
• Supervise unit managers and RN supervisors.
• Monitor care plans, documentation accuracy, and infection control.
• Participate in QAPI and quality improvement efforts.
• Assist with staffing oversight and clinical performance management.
• Collaborate with the DON and Administrator on operations.
