Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead staffing, care planning, and regulatory compliance, ensuring high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes strong clinical judgment, dependable leadership, and collaborative problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

The ADON will oversee MDS activities, infection control, staff development, and documentation accuracy while partnering with physicians and consultants to design individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Embraces restorative care with solid assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Staffing support: step in to assist floor staffing as needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, performance improvement and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget.
• Ensure accurate documentation: review and maintain resident records.
• Develop care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams.
