Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Bryan, TX seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead quality resident care, support nursing staff, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic long-term care setting. This leadership role requires dependable judgment, strong clinical skills, and the ability to multitask.

The ADON will oversee staffing, care planning, documentation, infection control, and staff development while collaborating with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs and assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, PI, and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties per census and budget.
• Review and maintain up-to-date resident records.
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and teams.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Conduct assessments and implement infection control measures.
