Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Texas to lead nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care.

The ADON will support staffing, oversee care planning, MDS, performance improvement and infection control programs, manage nursing staff, maintain accurate resident records, and collaborate with physicians to design individualized care plans while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with assessment and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: contribute to MDS, care planning, PI, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate based on census and budget.
