Great Lakes Management Co. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Colorado to oversee nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise staff.

The ADON will train staff in medical procedures, monitor resident care, and participate in policy development to improve outcomes for residents. The role requires an RN license and at least one year in home health, assisted living, or long-term care.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a current state RN license.
• Minimum one year in home health, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to self-start and follow through.
• Caring demeanor with passion for elderly care.
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with resident record systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call.

Aufgaben

• Performs initial assessments of new residents to ensure needs are met.
• Completes assessments within two weeks of admission.
• Maintains up-to-date service agreements and plans.
• Monitors resident charts and progress notes with staff.
• Coordinates resident services with other providers.
• Ensures orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours.
• Oversees medication procedures and reviews monthly sheets.
• Supports staff development and training on health & meds.
