Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is a not-for-profit facility in Fairlawn, OH seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN/LPN) to lead our 81-bed SNF. This salaried management role provides 24-hour leadership, directs clinical functions, monitors staffing, and acts as director in absence of the DON.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Ohio (RN preferred; LPN accepted).
• At least three (3) years’ supervisory/charge nurse experience with elderly care.
• Current BLS certification (in-person hands-on) per AHA/ARC guidelines.
• Participates in nurse on-call rotation and maintains good health.
• Ability to lift 35–50 pounds and work with residents in geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour leadership and management of residents’ health and wellbeing.
• Direct nursing staff, monitor staffing, and participate in staff development.
• Assist in ensuring care plans, documentation, and resident rights are upheld.
• Interact with residents, families, and medical staff to address concerns promptly.
