Job summary

ExcelCare Norwood is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing and ensure the highest quality of care in our skilled nursing facility in New Jersey.

The ADON will supervise the nursing staff, oversee regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans, mentor staff, and address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in New Jersey and in good standing.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory nursing role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Support compliance with regulatory guidelines and facility policies
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
• Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion
