Responsibilities

• Develop staffing plans and approve hours with the Director of Nursing.

• Establish infection prevention and control policies.
• Promote inter-professional teamwork in care delivery.
• Participate in budget planning and equipment needs.
• Mentor and orient new nursing staff; address performance issues.
• Ensure accurate documentation in resident records.
• Serve as role model and maintain clinical competency.
