Job summary

Luxor Healthcare Group's Medina Meadows in Medina, Ohio is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This private-pay skilled nursing facility focuses on quality care, strong clinical leadership, and a positive resident experience.

The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations, mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor care outcomes, and participate in care planning and quality assurance efforts.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Ohio.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical regulations, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations of the nursing department.
• Support, supervise, and mentor nursing staff to uphold resident care standards.
• Help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor resident care, documentation, and clinical outcomes.
• Participate in care planning, assessments, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and nursing department operations.
• Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive working environment.
