Job summary

Arcadia Care seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing daily functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. This role ensures the highest quality of care in a long-term care facility.

The ADON will supervise nursing staff, coordinate services for continuity of care, and assist with administrative duties such as charting and forms.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or LPN with pharmacology coursework.
• Current Illinois RN or LPN license.
• 2 years of supervisory healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in planning and directing day-to-day nursing department operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Ensure adequate staffing, medications, and safety equipment are available per shift.
