Zusammenfassung

The Laurels of Hudsonville, part of Ciena Healthcare, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for residents.

The ADON will supervise nursing staff, support regulatory compliance, and drive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction. This leadership role includes staffing, evaluations, and ensuring policy adherence in a long-term care setting.

Qualifikationen

• RN license currently active and in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred for leadership.
• Progressive nursing leadership experience in long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in supervising nursing care provided by staff.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities per organizational policies and laws.
• Interview, hire, train employees; plan, assign and direct work.
• Prepare work assignment sheets considering resident safety and staff readiness.
• Resolve staff scheduling, timekeeping and performance issues.
• Monitor and correct staff performance and disciplinary actions.
