Emerald Healthcare in Omaha, NE, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee nursing services and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

The ADON will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, support staff development, and participate in care conferences while maintaining nursing documentation and policies in a rotating on-call, full-time role.

Competenze

• RN or LPN license in Nebraska with an active state license.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled facility.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required; Gerontology certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Clinical Oversight: assist the DON in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices and protocols. Ensure high-quality care by monitoring resident health and care plans.
• Staff Management: supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs); assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation; foster collaboration through team meetings.
• Resident Care: ensure care is delivered per individual care plans; address resident/family concerns; participate in care conferences.
• Regulatory Compliance: stay updated on healthcare regulations; ensure facility adheres to guidelines; prepare for inspections.
• Quality Improvement: implement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and facility performance; analyze data for trends.
• Administrative Duties: develop and maintain nursing policies; manage documentation; coordinate with other departments.
