Job summary

Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Yonkers, NY, seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical leadership and ensure high-quality resident care. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee operations, regulatory compliance, and staff performance in a skilled nursing setting.

Applicants must hold a New York RN license and have prior nursing leadership in long-term care, with strong knowledge of NYS, DOH, and CMS regulations.

Qualifications

• RN license in New York State
• Experience leading nursing teams in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Strong knowledge of NYS, DOH, and CMS regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adequate staffing and coverage
• Ensure compliance with NYS, DOH, and CMS regulations
• Support quality assurance, performance improvement, and infection control initiatives
• Participate in staff training, evaluations, and disciplinary processes
• Review clinical documentation and care plans for accuracy and compliance
• Support survey preparedness and response activities
• Address resident and family concerns related to nursing care
