Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing daily operations of the nursing department in compliance with all regulations.

The role requires an active Illinois RN or LPN license, a nursing degree or equivalent, and 2 years of supervisory healthcare experience. The ADON will lead staff, coordinate services, and ensure quality patient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN program with a pharmacology course.
• Must possess a current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisor healthcare role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing daily nursing department functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Ensure sufficient licensed staff and supplies to deliver quality care per shift.
