Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Florida to partner with the Director of Nursing in guiding the nursing team and ensuring high-quality care for residents.

This leadership role requires a Florida RN license, relevant degree, and proven skilled nursing leadership. You will mentor staff, oversee clinical services, and drive quality improvement in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership in skilled nursing.
• Experience with OBRA, Joint Commission, and state regulations.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing all nursing operations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting regulations.
• Mentor and lead nursing staff.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical services and programs.
• Collaborate with other departments to support resident care.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Infection Control committees.
• Oversee training and onboarding of new nursing staff.
• Lead staff meetings to address challenges and celebrate successes.
• Participate in surveys and accreditation visits.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
