Job summary

Grand Living in Venice, FL is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the Health and Wellness team and ensure high-quality care and resident satisfaction.

The ADON will provide nursing services, manage medication administration, supervise staff, and mentor the team to meet state regulations, while fostering a culture of exceptional service and continuous improvement within an assisted living environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English reading/writing skills to complete requisitions/read recipes and communicate with staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience coordinating schedules for healthcare/clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health and Wellness team in an administrative and clinical role.
• Provide nursing services including medication administration and care delegation.
• Train, schedule and mentor staff to uphold Grand Living standards.
• Ensure high resident and family satisfaction and compliance with state regulations.
