The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and growth within a skilled nursing setting.

The ADON will assist in overseeing daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with regulations while promoting high-quality resident care. Collaboration with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

Current RN license in good standing.
Prior supervisory nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff.
Assist with staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Monitor resident care to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Support infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs.
Help prepare for state surveys and ensure ongoing survey readiness.
Promote a positive and professional work environment.
