Spring Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, MO seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing care and ensure compliance with clinical policies. The role supports DON and oversees 24/7 nursing services, staffing plans, and quality improvement.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, patient‑centered care for residents; RN or LPN license required, CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN or LPN nursing program.
• Current RN or LPN license in good standing required.
• CPR certification preferred but may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care under the Director of Nursing in a 24/7 setting.
• Ensure services meet company policies and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assign nursing tasks according to resident needs and qualifications.
• Administer medications and monitor treatment plans.
• Oversee staffing levels and supervise nursing staff daily.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for resident care.
• Promote safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
