Mountain Top Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead and support the Nursing Department in a long-term care and short-stay rehabilitation setting. The role requires RN licensure in PA, a nursing degree, and ADON/management experience, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in nursing management or ADON role.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; PA RN license required.
• AHA BCLS certification and valid state identification.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing daily Nursing Department operations.
• Develop and update policies and procedures for the Nursing Department.
• Ensure nursing staff adhere to job descriptions and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections.
• Review admissions, medications, care plans, and staff scheduling.
• Provide leadership in safety, infection control, and quality of resident care.
