Avardis-Health seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing home leadership team. This RN-led role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities include mentorship, policy implementation, staff recruitment, and collaboration with department heads to meet goals while maintaining compliant documentation and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and CPR certification.
• Minimally 3 years nursing experience with leadership exposure.
• Knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education and leadership development to clinical staff.
• Help achieve nursing department goals and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Recruit and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plans.
• Collaborate with department heads to improve interdepartmental relations.
• Develop and monitor documentation systems and provide direct resident care as needed.
• Introduce innovative ideas to improve patient outcomes.
