Job summary

Atlantic Health Strategies is seeking an Adolescent Primary Therapist to join our Groundwork program in Fayetteville, GA. This full-time, in-person role will carry an adolescent caseload and lead groups as the program launches.

You will perform intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. A Master’s degree and GA licensure or eligibility are required, with trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible GA clinician (LPC/LCSW/LMFT) or license-eligible upon supervision.
• Minimum 1 year of individual and group counseling; adolescent/family experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed approaches; able to work with disabilities; gender sensitivity.
• Familiarity with medical records and ICD-10-CM coding.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication; risk assessment & mandated reporting familiar.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage an individual adolescent caseload (12–17), including family therapy.
• Complete intake assessments and biopsychosocials.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with ongoing updates.
• Complete discharge summaries and maintain collateral contacts.
• Use evidence-based techniques including DBT-A, CBT, trauma-focused, and family systems.
• Facilitate process, skills, and psychoeducation groups and discussions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation; collect and analyze data to evaluate progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
