Atlantic Health Strategies is posting a full-time, in-person leadership role for Greater Georgia Behavioral Health in Fayetteville, GA. The Program Director / Lead Clinician will open and guide Groundwork, oversee an adolescent intensive outpatient program, supervise staff, and ensure compliance and safety standards from launch onward.

The role requires a master's degree in a behavioral health field, GA licensure, and 3+ years of post-graduate experience with adolescents and families, with 24/7

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work or related field.
• Independent Georgia clinical licensure: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1–2 years in substance use disorder treatment or behavioral health; prior management experience.
• 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience with adolescents and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the adolescent IOP.
• Lead scheduling, program flow, staff coordination, and supplies/resources.
• Report regularly to clinical and executive leadership on operations, staffing, and service delivery.
• Maintain 24/7 on-call availability for urgent matters.
• Provide administrative oversight of clinical, case management, and recovery staff; support documentation, compliance, and performance.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and professional development among staff.
• Ensure administrative processes support ethical, trauma-informed, person-centered care and program integrity.
• Lead emergency response, de-escalation, and coordination of emergency transport.
• Provide clinical leadership including program operations, DBT-A/CBT, risk assessment and safety planning.
