Job summary

Horizon Recovery in Glendale, AZ, seeks a House Therapist to provide individual, family, and group counseling at a 10-bed behavioral health residential facility. Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, or related licensable field; associate-level licensed preferred.
• Current state licensure or certification as a therapist (e.g., Licensed Associate Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
• Valid driver’s license.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in behavioral health.
• Work experience with the adolescent population highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, families, and groups at a 10-bed behavioral health residential facility.
• Conduct initial evaluations, ongoing progress evaluations, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with families/guardians in treatment planning for adolescents.
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and Chief Clinical Officer; report significant events.
