Job summary

Insight Human Services in Marion, NC seeks a hands-on Program Director to launch and lead a clinically managed, medium-intensity ASAM 3.5 residential program for adolescents. This 24/7 operation focuses on stabilization, skill-building, family engagement, and long-term recovery planning.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team, build community partnerships, oversee admissions and quality improvement, ensure regulatory alignment with NC Medicaid, and shape program culture from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Advanced behavioral health degree or license required or willingness to obtain.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in adolescent substance use treatment or residential services.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of an ASAM 3.5 program and balance daily needs with long-term goals.
• Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and workflows aligned with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Recruit, supervise, and mentor a multidisciplinary staff.
• Oversee admissions, discharges, utilization review, and quality improvement activities.
• Build referrals and partnerships with local community organizations and payers.
• Monitor performance, analyze data trends, and report to leadership.
