Job summary

Skyland Trail in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Adolescent Residential Counselor PRN to provide supervision, education, and support to adolescents within the residential program. The role supports clients and clinical staff across the Adolescent Program and requires thorough documentation and adherence to program policies.

The position emphasizes crisis response, safety, and collaboration with clinical teams, including co-facilitating group and family therapy as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field.
• Masters degree in a related field preferred.
• Licensed clinician, license-eligible clinician or working towards clinical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to clients in the Adolescent Program.
• Monitor and document client behavior and progress for clinical team.
• Complete shift change summaries for residents.
• Document resiliency goals and progress on shift reports.
• Perform Activities of Daily Living assessments and wellness plans.
• Instruct and coach clients in daily living and social skills.
• Facilitate residential groups and evening/weekend activities.
• Co-facilitate group and family therapy with lead clinicians when requested.
• Ensure safety procedures and program rules are followed.
