Job summary

Skyland Trail, a nonprofit mental health residential program for adults and adolescents in Atlanta, is seeking an Adolescent Residential Counselor PRN to join our Adolescent Program. This PRN position provides supervision, education, and support to clients and clinical staff, conducts daily living skills coaching, documents progress, and participates in group and family therapy under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care to help youths on their recovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of clinical mental health experience.
• Masters degree preferred in related field.
• Licensed clinician or license-eligible clinician.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to Adolescent Program clients.
• Document behavior, progress, and communicate with clinical team.
• Lead activities of daily living assessments and resiliency plans.
• Instruct clients in daily living, interpersonal, and social skills.
• Co-facilitate group therapy and family therapy with lead clinicians.
• Ensure safety procedures and program rules are followed.
• Assist in crisis situations following crisis protocol.
