Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in health, social work or counseling education with licensure eligibility (LSW/LAC/LCSW or LPC).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with adolescents, mental health disorders, trauma, in residential settings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Current NJ driver’s license; must meet safe driving requirements.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to be flexible to daily changing needs within the community and to handle obstacles with compassion and resolve.

Aufgaben

• Provide evidence-based individual and family counseling to address trauma and co-occurring mental health disorders; refer to higher level of care when necessary.
• Maintain Performcare-style treatment plans and assessments based on authorization dates.
• Use trauma-informed modalities including emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
• Provide timely documentation for screenings, assessments, interventions, and treatment goals.
• Lead or participate in didactic, open process, and psychoeducation groups.
• Collaborate with agencies and legal systems to advocate for clients; participate in clinical meetings and licensure trainings.
• Support transitions and provide crisis intervention and debriefings as needed.
• Contribute to program evaluation and quality improvement; deliver oral and written reports as indicated.
• Coach and train Mental Health Associates to tailor plans to residents’ needs.
