Job summary

Hope For Youth, Inc. seeks a Residential Caseworker to support adolescents and young adults in our Adolescent Diagnostic and Respite Services program. You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop family‑ and youth‑driven service plans, and perform home and community visits to promote stability.

The role emphasizes trauma‑informed practice, strong writing skills, and collaboration in treatment teams. Full‑time schedule with training and growth opportunities on Long Island.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
• Strong writing and time management skills.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Function within agency policies and procedures.
• Prepare psychosocial assessments and final reviews.
• Home visits and parent/youth interviews; case updates and documentation.
• Supervise and document family visits; progress notes.
• Prepare incident reports; support program and residents from a trauma‑informed perspective.
• Meet regulatory obligations and ensure client needs are met.
