Riverside Mental Health and Recovery Center in Hampton, VA seeks a Psych Registered Nurse (RN) for its labor pool. The position is part-time, with 12-hour shifts and a requirement to work at least 2 weekend shifts per scheduling period, plus one summer and one winter holiday per year.

The RN assesses and plans care, coordinates with an interdisciplinary team, and ensures quality documentation and patient education. Prior pediatric/adolescent psychiatry experience is preferred.

Competenze

• 1 year related RN experience (Preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Virginia or compact state (Upon Hire)
• CPR/BLS Certification required upon hire (AHA/ARC)

Mansioni

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop a care plan.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Educate patients and families; document plans and outcomes per RHS standards.
• Delegate and supervise non-professional staff to support patient care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure safe patient throughput.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education for home care.
