Job summary

ROCK HILL NEW HOPE TREATMENT CENTERS is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for youth in the DJJ Mental Health Program in Butner, NC. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment and ensure high standards of care.

Required are an PMHNP license, APRN licensure, and DEA registration, with experience in adolescent mental health and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Active PMHNP license in state of practice.
• Active APRN license and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and DSM-based diagnoses for youth in DJJ Mental Health Program.
• Develop treatment plans and manage psychotropic medications per guidelines.
• Coordinate care with therapists, nurses, and residential staff for integrated services.
• Educate youth, families, and staff on diagnoses, medications, and side effects.
