Job summary

OneQuest Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver mental health services to adolescent residents. You will supervise LPNs, ensure medications follow physician orders, and support staff training on MAR procedures.

The RN will coordinate medical appointments, maintain records, and participate in on-call coverage across two campuses in Burlington and Covington. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in nursing, prefer pediatric/mental health experience, and hold a Kentucky RN license.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in Kentucky.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years nursing experience (strongly preferred), or 1 year RN plus 1 year in healthcare as aide/like position.
• Experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Prefer experience working with children.
• Ability to conduct in-service training for youth care staff regarding medication administration (MAR).
• Demonstrates leadership and motivation, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Must have a valid driver's license with insurance and be willing to transport clients between campus locations or to medical appointments.
• Must work some evenings, weekends and holidays and participate in on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client appointments and medication needs with Health Services Manager and consulting psychiatrist.
• Document medical appointments and follow agency policy.
• Engage in Quality Assurance and Risk Management for medical events.
• Provide training on medication administration to Residential Treatment Specialists.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy for medication storage and distribution protocol.
• Oversee and facilitate drug tests as needed.
• Administer medications onsite when needed.
• Maintain medical summaries and discharge documentation on file.
