Job summary

SCO Family of Services is seeking qualified staff to support adolescents in a residential program in New York. The role focuses on delivering quality care in health, safety, clothing, hygiene and meals, while establishing ADL routines and supervising daily activities.

You will model positive behavior, participate in individual and group activities, and uphold the behavior management system to maintain a safe, orderly environment. Travel is required up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Three years experience working with adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive quality care in health, safety, clothing, hygiene and meals.
• Establishes ADL routines including house jobs, room chores, wake-ups, lights-out, laundry, cooking.
• Supervises individual and group activities such as trips, sporting events, crafts.
• Upholds behavior management system and related confrontational techniques.
• Attends to educational/vocational, health and mental health needs of residents.
• Models positive behavior and contributes to a safe, orderly environment.
