Job summary

Inova Keller Center in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist II to join our team. The role supports adolescents in comprehensive mental health services, including PHP/IOP and collaboration with The Keller School.

This is a full-time day-shift position, Monday–Friday, with one evening per week. The therapist will conduct assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, and coordinate care across hospital and community resources to optimize outcomes for youth and families in Northern

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses mental health and/or substance use disorders through a bio/psycho/social assessment identifying patient and family goals and needs.
• Provides a range of therapeutic interventions, psycho-educational programming and behavioral interventions to assist patient/family in achieving goals of the individualized service plan.
• Provides care management to ensure patient and family are connected to appropriate healthcare and community resources; participates in inpatient/community psychoeducational programs and facilitates support groups.

Education
