Job summary

Inova Health System’s Behavioral Health Services PHP and IOP program seeks a Behavioral Health Therapist 4 on a PRN basis in Fairfax, VA. You will deliver clinical services, supervise colleagues, and mentor interns, supporting clients stepping down from inpatient care or stepping up from outpatient care.

The role emphasizes supervision of licensure candidates, psychoeducational programming, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional with LPC/LMFT/LCSW/LCP/LSATP required at start.
• Minimum 5 years of post-licensure mental health/substance use treatment experience.
• Experience with psychoeducational programming and targeted interventions.
• Master's or doctoral degree in a mental health-related field as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of therapeutic services and psychoeducational programming to support client goals.
• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders using evidence-based assessments.
• Lead and mentor graduate students and supervise team members pursuing licensure.
