Job summary

Inova Keller Center seeks a Behavioral Health Therapist II to join our Fairfax, Virginia team. This role handles patient assessments, PHP/IOP, and works with The Keller School, with a full-time daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• At least 2 years of mental health/substance use disorder treatment experience.
• BLS certification within 3 months; Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses mental health/substance use disorders using bio/psycho/social framework to guide care.
• Delivers a range of therapeutic interventions and psycho-educational programming to support individualized service plans.
• Provides care management and community referrals to optimize treatment outcomes and supports family involvement.
