LearnWell in Aurora, IL is seeking a passionate teacher to join our team in a fast-paced behavioral health facility. You will provide academic support to child and adolescent patients in a small classroom setting during treatment.

You will plan daily lessons, offer individualized help, and regularly report student progress, while adjusting strategies to promote success. Class sizes typically range from 8 to 15 students.

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Illinois state teaching license.
• Comfortable working with adolescent students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain attendance and session reports.
• Manage small class sizes (8–15 students).
