LearnWell in Forest Park, IL is seeking a passionate teacher to join a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent patients in a small classroom setting. You will plan daily lessons and tailor instruction to individual needs while communicating progress as required.

The role involves maintaining attendance and session reports, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure success, and managing classroom tasks for most days with 8–15 students.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Illinois teaching license
• Comfortable working with K-12 students on the four core subjects
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for adolescent patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Provide individualized assistance to students and monitor progress.
• Regularly communicate student progress to supervisors or guardians as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports for 8–15 students per class.
