Job summary

La Amistad Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Clinical Program Coordinator for a full-time 32-hour workweek in a residential adolescent setting. The role blends clinical interventions with milieu management, ensuring resident safety while coordinating with the treatment team.

Qualifications

Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field.
Current Florida Counseling Intern registration is preferred.
1 year direct clinical experience with children/adolescents is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist and monitor residents with a supportive attitude.
Interact therapeutically with residents in one-to-one, group, and community settings.
Advocate for resident rights and confidentiality.
Demonstrate understanding of common psychiatric diagnoses and intervention techniques.
Assess clinical needs and plan group interventions accordingly.
Run psychoeducation and enrichment groups in afternoon and weekend programming.
Coordinate with Social Services and MHTs to develop proper interventions and milieu needs.
