Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is seeking a Regular full-time CNA to provide routine patient care under nurse or physician guidance. You will assist with ambulation, bathing, feeding, and basic clerical tasks to maintain high-quality care in a multidisciplinary setting.

This role involves day shifts with on-call involvement for nights, weekends, and holidays, and offers competitive pay with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required/licensed.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, direct patient care including ambulating, bathing, positioning, and feeding.
• Greets visitors, answers inquiries, and assists with messages and tasks for patients.
• Assists with transfers, measurements, specimen collection, and transport as needed.
• Answers calls, coordinates with departments, and supports outpatient appointments.
• Performs clerical duties related to admissions, discharges, charts, and transfers.
