Job summary

Sentara Health in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Behavioral Health PHP team caring for adolescents in a Partial Hospitalization Program. The role focuses on evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management with a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8a–4:30p) with no weekends or holidays, and a base pay range reflecting market compensation for full-time roles in this area.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA with behavioral health training or experience preferred.
• Ability to perform psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning and medication monitoring.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver group and individual therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning.
• Provide ongoing medication monitoring for adolescents in PHP.
• Collaborate with a team delivering group and individual therapy services.
• Maintain an average daily schedule of visits and transitional follow-up after discharge.
