Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Hurricane, Utah is hiring a Behavioral Health Associate to support adolescent boys (12–17) in a residential setting. You’ll help with daily routines, emotional regulation, life skills, safety, and structured programming alongside therapists and nurses. Hours are on-site, AM 7:00–5:00 and PM 1:00–11:00, with alternating weeks.

Pay is $18–$20 per hour. Benefits include a Mastery program with incremental pay increases, health insurance, parental leave, 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• High-acuity response to manage outbursts and dysregulation in residential care.
• Ability to maintain composure and set healthy boundaries.
• Willingness to learn and grow with adolescents in mental health settings.
• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health or crisis environments preferred.
• 21+ years of age and able to pass background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Daily routines: support structured schedules and activities with encouragement and accountability.
• Crisis intervention/prevention: verbal de-escalation and safe holds when needed.
• Treatment alignment: ensure progress matches individualized plans by therapists.
• Positive modeling: reinforce healthy behaviors and attitudes.
• Documentation: maintain thorough client records of interactions and progress.
• Team engagement: participate in staff activities to foster teamwork.
• Housekeeping: perform light daily tasks to keep living spaces orderly.
