Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Hurricane, Utah is hiring a Behavioral Health Associate to support adolescent boys (12–17) in a residential setting. You will help with daily routines, emotional regulation, life skills, safety, and structured programming alongside therapists and nurses.

The role requires high-acuity response, strong emotional regulation, and a growth mindset. Prior adolescent health experience is preferred, and the position is on-site with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High-acuity response: Manage verbal/physical outbursts and emotional dysregulation in a residential setting.
• Emotional regulation: Maintain composure and set healthy boundaries.
• Growth mindset: Willingness to learn; candidates encouraged even without direct experience.
• Adolescent experience: Background in adolescent behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily routines: Support students with structured schedules and activities.
• Crisis intervention/prevention: Use verbal de-escalation and safe holds when needed to ensure safety.
• Treatment alignment: Ensure progress matches individualized treatment plans by therapists.
• Positive modeling: Demonstrate constructive behaviors and attitudes in daily interactions.
• Documentation: Maintain consistent, thorough records of client interactions and progress.
• Team engagement: Participate in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork.
• Housekeeping tasks: Perform light daily tasks to maintain a clean living space.
