Job summary

La Frontera Arizona, through EMPACT-SPC, seeks a Behavior Management Specialist to provide direct in-home, school and community-based interventions. The role emphasizes behavior management, parent partnering, and collaboration with Child and Family Team processes in Arizona.

Evening hours may be required and reliability in documentation is essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, AZDHS/BHS BHT preferred, and at least one year of relevant experience with at-risk youth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Behavior Management Techniques.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and groups with families, teens and community members.
• Experience working with at-risk adolescents preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a relevant setting.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Remain calm in crises, work independently and with teams.
• Maintain professional conduct and compliance with agency policies.
• Build positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Drive to locations with valid AZ license and insurance; clean driving record.
• Attend meetings, trainings and events outside regular hours when requested.
• Maintain required training and duties as assigned.
