Job summary

EMPACT-SPC, part of the La Frontera family, is a leading nonprofit providing behavioral health counseling, crisis intervention and suicide prevention since 1987. The Behavior Management Specialist will support adolescents and families in homes, schools, or community settings, with a focus on behavior management and parent education.

You will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensure timely documentation, and may require some evening hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with behavior management techniques and parent partnering/education.
• Ability to work in home, school, and community settings with adolescents and families.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with emphasis on behavior management.
• Facilitate groups and meetings with families and teens.
• Collaborate with Child and Family Team and other agencies.
