Job summary

Principia School in St. Louis, MO is seeking an On-Call Admissions Associate to welcome prospective students and families during Visit Days, support admissions events, and help create a warm, organized experience from arrival to departure.

This part-time, 12-month position reports to the Director of Admission and emphasizes hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate campus activities across locations. Prior customer service or school event experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in customer service, education, or event support preferred.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during Visit Day.
• Familiarity with Principia or as a parent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming, knowledgeable presence for prospective students and families during Admission Visit Days.
• Coordinate and execute Visit Day programming (approximately 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.).
• Escort prospective students and families around campus, ensuring smooth transitions between activities.
• Support the flow of the day by guiding small groups between classes, meetings, and program elements.
• Collaborate with Admissions team to create a warm, organized visit experience from arrival through departure.
