Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Center Admissions Coordinator to manage recruitment and arrival coordination for Job Corps students. You will screen applicants, determine eligibility, and liaise with community partners to support student success.

This role requires an Associate degree in human services or related field and at least two years of relevant experience, with a valid in-state driver's license. You will ensure confidentiality and integrity of student data while meeting program goals.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and ensures no manipulation of student data.
• Meets or exceeds program performance goals.
• Screens applicants to determine eligibility and suitability for Job Corps enrollment.
• Secures and evaluates applicants’ behavioral, medical and educational records.
• Denies enrollment and refers applicants to other resources when appropriate.
• Conducts admissions assessments and career counseling.
• Serves as liaison to Center staff to facilitate enrollment and retention.
• Collaborates with community agencies and schools to inform prospective applicants about the program.
• Maintains referral linkages with community organizations.
• Conducts Center tours and pre-arrival visits.
• Produces quality work and meets deadlines.
• Maintains attendance and productivity standards.
• Adheres to job knowledge and professional development requirements.
• Mentors and models Career Success Standards as required.
• Provides supervision for the student population and maintains professional conduct.
• Delivers quality programs and services and seeks continuous improvement.
• Communicates clearly in writing and speaking; shares information with DOL/Company as needed.
• Works with departments to ensure effective supervision and services for students.
• Accepts direction from supervisors and may temporarily cover other roles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
