Responsibilities

• Responsible for recruitment and arrival coordination of Job Corps students.
• Identify and develop center-beneficial partnerships that lead to student benefit and success.
• Determine student qualifications, eligibility and suitability for Job Corps enrollment.
• Supervise assigned work-based learning (WBL) students.
• Screen applicants for eligibility and suitability for the Job Corps program.
• Secure and evaluate applicants' behavioral, medical and educational records.
• Deny enrollment and refer applicants to other resources as needed.
• Conduct assessments and career counseling during admissions.
• Liaise with Center staff to facilitate seamless enrollment and early retention.
• Engage with community agencies to inform prospective applicants and create referral linkages.
• Conduct Center tours, pre-arrival visits, and parent meetings.
• Maintain high-quality work, attendance, and productivity.

Education

Associate degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications or closely related field
