Job summary

The New School's Eugene Lang College is seeking a Student Assistant for Undergraduate Admission to serve as a knowledgeable, welcoming resource for prospective students and families. The role supports inquiries, data entry, event assistance, and outreach, while reflecting the Lang student experience.

The successful candidate will be an undergraduate in good standing, able to work independently and with teams, and comfortable handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student in good academic standing

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries through email inbox and other channels
• Meet with prospective students and families to discuss the Lang experience
• Represent Eugene Lang College at information sessions, open houses, and events
• Draft and maintain email templates for frequently asked questions
• Assist with data entry and digital record maintenance in university systems
• Support creation of social media and other digital content
• Complete project-based assignments and departmental duties as needed
• Assist with outreach, inquiry management, and event support
