Job summary

Bucknell University is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions to help recruit and enroll students from designated territories. The role supports strategic enrollment goals and engages with prospective students, families, counselors and community partners on campus and beyond.

The position requires 40 hours weekly, some evenings/weekends, and is based on campus in Freas Hall with a hybrid/onsite work setting. A relevant Bachelor's degree and several years in admissions are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4 years in higher education or academic admissions/recruitment, financial aid, enrollment, and student advising.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory, including recruiting and yield activities, travel to high school visits and college fairs.
• Conduct ongoing prospect management and contribute to holistic review and evaluation of applications.
• Oversee key enrollment initiatives and multi-thousand-dollar budget oversight and programming development.
• Serve as Counselor of the Day, conduct group presentations and meet with visitors.
