Fellowship Square Christian Care in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Admissions Coordinator to manage staffing operations, oversee new resident admissions, and coordinate central supply logistics in our skilled nursing facility.

The role emphasizes organization, proactive communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will conduct tours, manage referrals, and support staff onboarding while fostering a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• At least 18 years old and of good moral character.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage 24-hour, Monday-Friday staffing coverage for the nursing department, including preparing and posting schedules.
• Provides oversight of medical records, including monitoring physician documentation practices and managing chart record requests.
• Conduct tours with adequate knowledge of facility capabilities.
• Monitor and manage hospital admission referrals and insurance authorizations.
• Facilitate new resident admissions and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Conduct orientation for new nursing staff and assist with compliance tracking.
• Serve as on-call contact for staffing and admissions.
• Maintain and organize supply inventory and stock.
• Foster a warm, collaborative, and respectful environment for residents and staff.
